Homemade Poultry Seasoning ???
What a difference it makes
Store-bought poultry seasoning might save you a step or two, but it’s more often than not simply not ideal. So while you might score a good one (we like Simply Organic if you must go store-bought), they are generally missing a spice (or three).
For your homemade poultry seasoning you want sage, thyme, marjoram, rosemary, freshly grated nutmeg and freshly ground black pepper. And, if you dig spicy food, you might also want to through in 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.
Store it in an airtight container and season any and all poultry dishes with it for an instant pick me up.
